We had this talk by the group of mission people again.
Haha, to be honest, I hate how they use people who had really bad life and how they had their lives changed by believing in some divine.
Well, i just think this is utterly ridiculous. I mean, seriously.
Reality check.
Having SQ, or spiritual quotient, does not really help much in this world except giving you a sense of motivation when you need it. Does believing in the divine give you a good job, family, friend? Then why not stop studying and pray a certificate will be in your mailbox like, tomorrow?
When you say to bring him glory, do you really mean it and 100% want to bring glory to whatever you’re praying to? Or you just want it for yourself so your stay on earth would be better? Then wouldn’t it just be a thought of selfishness already? Using someone to make yourself gain what you want?
I believe that if that divine being tell you to let go of everything and do what he says, I bet 99% of this population will not do it.
They say the believe in an eternal life prepared for them when they die, but yet they still fight for money, glory for themselves, fight for positions in the company. They are not willing to let go, yet they yank so much about bringing glory to the divine if they are allowed to do well.
The point is.
If you don’t fully submit yourself to whatever, or believe in the thing you’re believing in now, might as well forget it.
Think about it.
How will THE DIVINE feel you’re only using him for your materialistic gains.
You are just a plain selfish bastard.
